Transactions via the New Zealand Mint Website may be carried out in any of the following currencies; $NZD, $USD, $AUD, Pounds Sterling and Euros. Currency conversion rates used on our website may differ slightly from rates published elsewhere. If your purchasingcurrency is not your native currency, your final billwill be determined by the exchange rate applied by your credit card company at the time the charge is recorded, plus any fees applied by your credit card provider.
All sales to persons outside New Zealand are exempt from New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST). For New Zealand domestic sales, all products of 99.5% pure metal or higher (gold and silver coins, medals and bullion) are exempt from GST. However, products incorporating other materials in their manufacture (including coins on stands, jewellery, and the like) are subject to the standard rate of GST applying at the time of sale.
It is a strict policy of New Zealand Mint that all purchases must be paid for prior to shipping of the products, regardless of the value.
Bullion purchases cannot be made by Credit Card.
Credit Card purchases are subject to an upper limit on value and we reserve the right to change the limit from time to time.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept Credit Cards on the basis of Country of Origin, issuing bank or upon the recommendation of our payment processor. If your payment is refused, you will be notified by DPS or New Zealand Mint.
All purchases unable to be handled by Credit Card are to be paid by Electronic Bank Transfer. Arrangements for this procedure can be made by contacting sales@newzealandmint.com
Please note that quantities of merchandise available for sale from this site are limited, so merchandise may become sold out. If this should occur and the merchandise is not available on back order, New Zealand Mint will promptly refund any payment which it may have received for merchandise that is unavailable. In this case, New Zealand Mint will email confirmation of credit refund.
Prices of products, services, delivery and other charges displayed on this website are current at the time of issue but may change at any time and are subject to availability. The availability of products and services may change from time to time. In the event a particular product is sold out, New Zealand Mint reserves the right to either process partial orders and make refunds or return orders in their entirety. New Zealand Mint retains title to the products you order until you have made payment in full for those products.

New Zealand Mint reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason, including, without limitation, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or the product description posted on this website, an error in your order and a failure in your payment.
Your ability to purchase products and services from the New Zealand Mint website may be terminated at any time by New Zealand Mint without notice. The products and services offered for sale are available only to individuals who can make legally binding contracts.
Upon receipt of your order, New Zealand Mint will issue you with an email notification shortly afterwards listing the items ordered, the total product and shipping charges, delivery address and shipping carrier. This will not include any customs duties, local taxes or bank fees. The order notification is a confirmation that we have received your order, not a confirmation of acceptance or processing.
Shipping details must include a physicaladdress and day time telephone number. Your order cannot be dispatched if these details are missing. All orders are dispatched from New Zealand Mint during normal New Zealand business hours.
New Zealand Mint reserves the right to limit quantities and may discontinue accepting orders at any time. New Zealand Mint reserves the right to accept or reject orders in any combination or option(s) it determines to be in its best interest.
You may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs clearances levied by your country or other overseas authority once a shipment reaches your country. These charges are not included in the price. You should contact your local customs office for further information on applicable duties, taxes, restrictions and fees.
New Zealand Mint is not responsible for any customer input errors and/or typographical errors in your name or address when you enter it in the shopping cart or on your mail order form.
The customer is responsible for verifying all information is correct before submitting an order. When you receive your automatically generated email invoice (this is generated when you submit your order), be sure you read it and if you find any errors, contact us immediately by replying to thereturn address in the email.
We use the address you give us when you place your order. This shows up on the delivery details of your invoice if the address is different from the customer's address. We verify that the addressgiven on your order matches the address on the shipping label before printing the shipping label and affixing it on your package.
If you have a typographical error, such as a wrong house number, apartment number, street name, and the like and do not contact us before your order is shipped, New Zealand Mint cannot be held responsible if your order is shipped with the incorrect information on the shipping label and you do not receive the package. We have no way of knowing a name/address is incorrect due to such an error, neither does the Postal Service of your country.
New Zealand Mint will endeavour in all cases to have returned any shipment that is not delivered, but if this is not possible the responsibility and onus remains with the purchaser.
If forany reason an order is returned to us with an incorrect address, customers are responsible for paying the postage costs to send it to the correct address once we receive it back. If we receive your order back as undeliverable, we will verify the address you gave us is on the shipping label and you will be contacted via email. Payment for the postage to resend the package to you will be due within seven days of sending the email. No refunds will be given if this occurs.
For Commemorative Coinsand Jewellery, insurance, costing 2.0% of the value of goods, is available to cover loss or damage in transit. Use of this option is strongly recommended.
New Zealand Mint abides by New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Sale of Goods Act 1908. If you wish to return any products purchased through this website, please use the provided form or call +64 9 377 6837.
New Zealand Mint Limited is based in Auckland, New Zealand and operates under New Zealand business law. The normal laws of international commerce apply to international transactions. Any disputes will be held under New Zealand Law in a New Zealand Court of Law.
