Delightfully evil. Ursula Stuns on New Disney Villains Silver Coin

The frightful sea witch Ursula dazzles on the fourth release in our Disney Villains Coin Collection. The delightfully evil villain made her debut in Disney’s 28th animated feature film, The Little Mermaid (1989).

The Little Mermaid is unique in that it had more effects than probably any animated film since Disney’s Fantasia; nearly 80 percent of the film required some kind of effects work—storms at sea, billowing sails, schools of fish, shadows, raging fire, explosions, magic pixie dust, surface reflections, underwater distortions, ripples, and bubbles.

Voiced by American actress Pat Carroll, Ursula is the villainous sea witch who is scheming to take advantage of the ambitions of King Triton's youngest daughter, Princess Ariel, in order to usurp the throne.

This wickedly wonderful 1oz silver coin illustrates the frightful witch in full colour against an engraved background, accompanied by the phrase “Holidays can be cruel”.

The coin is housed inside a captivating fairy-tale book-style packaging, which incorporates a design synonymous with the chilling Disney Villains theme. The Certificate of Authenticity is printed alongside the coin.

The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and is legal tender in Niue.

A sinful addition to any Disney fan collection, you could be one of only 10,000 people worldwide to own this unique collectible.
