Premium Silver Foil Celebrates Star Wars #1 Comic Book Cover

Introducing a brand-new Star Wars Premium Silver Foil Collection of replica comic book covers! The first striking foil features the Star Wars #1 comic book cover from April 1977. This issue kicked off the Star Wars series of comic books, which ran for 107 issues until 1986, and closely follows the opening events of Star Wars: A New Hope.

The cover for this first issue was based on Howard Chaykin’s original Star Wars convention poster, which became one of the most valuable posters in the Star Wars collecting world.

This vibrant 35g fine silver collectible incorporates both colour and engraving, and features Luke SkywalkerTM, Obi-Wan KenobiTM, Princess LeiaTM and Han SoloTM, Darth VaderTM, the Death StarTM, X-WingTM, Y-WingTM and TIE-FightersTM in the background. Interestingly some of the colours used on the original poster were incorrect, with Darth Vader in green and Luke and Obi-Wan’s LightsabersTM coloured red!

The foil is housed in an innovative acrylic holder, designed to allow for easy display. Packaged inside a complementary Star Wars themed carrier, this makes it a unique collectible for any Star Wars or Pop Culture fan.

The obverse of the note features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and it is legal tender in Niue.

With only 10, 000 foils available worldwide, don’t delay in placing your order for this innovative precious metal replica!
