Today we are excited to reveal a brand-new coin collection - Faces of Gotham™ - to kick off 2022! These shaped and coloured coins in 1oz of pure silver will feature a number of distinctive faces, and we begin with the most recognisable face of all – BATMAN™!
Bruce Wayne, aka BATMAN, wears his cowl on for many reasons, including intimidating opponents, but the main reason is to protect his identity. Simply wearing the cowl is enough to fool human eyes. Interestingly, in almost all comic book depictions his eyeballs are not actually visible through the cowl - and so that is how he is reproduced on this authentic, officially licensed DC collectible.
The obverse bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, confirming it as a legal tender coin.
This collection is packaged inside a compact, modern, branded case - designed with a window to enable you to display the prize inside. The Certificate of Authenticity can be found on the back of the case along with confirmation of the coin’s number in the 5,000 mintage.
