The final coin in our heavenly Archangel Coin Collection depicts Uriel, often referred to as the ‘Light of God’. The coin depicts a magnificent, coloured image of this Archangel from a 1920 stained-glass window by Mary Hutchinson in Hull Minster, UK.
Uriel works alongside Archangels Gabriel, Michael and Raphael, and is said to have protected humankind from the Watchers, a group of fallen angels, according to the Book of Enoch. Known as the ‘Light of God,’ he is the one that radiates the light of the divine and connects us with the higher realms. He is the angel of wisdom and enlightenment. Generally, Uriel is depicted as a guide, carrying a scroll on which you will find answers to questions concerning your life path, and a staff or a bright light to guide you.
Struck from an ounce of pure silver, an intricate engraved border frames the image of Uriel on the coin. The border continues on the obverse where you’ll see the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. The coin is legal tender in Niue.
The slimline, themed box reflects the red colour that is associated with Uriel, representing the power and vitality displayed from a red-light ray. The coin is placed in an acrylic block for easy display, which is magnetized to allow access to this exquisite coin.
A Certificate of Authenticity, included in the box, confirm the coin’s unique number in the limited-edition mintage of only 2,000. Don’t miss your chance to order this last coin in the set.
