Our Love is Precious annual release is available to order from today! Always a sell-out, this year it features two beautiful, white Doves.
Doves are an ancient symbol of true love and fidelity. These are birds often mate for life and are extremely loyal. They raise their young ones together with great care and dedication. In Greek mythology the Goddess of love, Aphrodite, is depicted with doves flying around her or resting on her hand. In fact, their reputation as a symbol of love is so strong that during medieval times many love potion recipes required the heart of a dove!
The coin features the two birds in the purest white colour, perched together on an engraved branch, and surrounded by beautiful blossoms. Between them is a red heart-shaped cubic zirconia set into the coin. Around the edge the inscription Love is Precious is finely engraved into an ornate border.
To make this a truly special gift we have placed it in an elegant heart-shaped silver-coloured coin case. A Certificate of Authenticity confirms it as a limited edition, 1oz pure silver coin and features the quote “When I saw you, I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew.” These, in turn, are placed inside a quality gift box, designed using complementary colours and dove motifs.
