Introducing the first coin in a new Chibi Coin series for WONDER WOMAN™ 1984. Naturally, it showcases the Amazonian Warrior herself, WONDER WOMAN™!
Officially licensed, this coin is made from 1oz of pure silver to resemble the Chibi art version of WONDER WOMAN in her Golden Armor. Despite its shape and colour this is still a legal tender coin, with the Ian Rank Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II engraved on the obverse.
In the movie WONDER WOMAN 1984, we find ourselves fast forwarded to the 1980s with WONDER WOMAN facing two all-new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah. In doing so, Diana trades her traditional red-white-and-blue battle gear for something with more dazzle – I mean, who doesn’t love a bit of gold? We sure do!
This majestic Golden Armor comes with a helmet in the likeness of the eagle and gigantic metallic wings that allow her to pierce the sky. These wings are in fact a tool for both offense and defense - essentially both a weapon and a shield. For the movie, the suit of armor worn by the Amazon Princess was made from 110 cast components. When combined with the larger wings, this constituted 280 total components, plus additional fabric work and engineered elements. Quite an outfit!
This striking coin is protected inside a specially designed case, moulded to the coin’s shape. It arrives inside a WONDER WOMAN 1984 themed outer box suitable for display.
This is a very limited collectible with a mintage of only 2,000. A Certificate of Authenticity is printed on the box, along with confirmation of the coin’s unique number in the mintage. Whatever you do, don’t let this incredible collectible fly away!
