Here is the latest release in our Faces of the First Order™ coin collection! Made of 1oz pure silver, this coin displays the helmet of a ruthless First Order TIE Fighter Pilot.
Imperial pilots were treated as expendable, sent into combat in unshielded TIEs, but the First Order treats its fighter pilots as important parts of its war machine. Potential First Order pilots are identified as children and given rigorous training, often within the corridors of warships, then tested ruthlessly throughout their careers to ensure their reflexes, visual acuity and coordination measure up.
Their uniform consisted of a black jumpsuit with a chest plate with life support gear and a helmet with goggles. The helmet had a flexible gas transfer hose, which connected to the pilot's life support system. The helmet's goggles also had an interior view plate that projected combat data to the pilots.
Skilfully crafted, this coin has been shaped and coloured to resemble the First Order TIE Pilot helmet. To really bring it to life, some relief has also been added to the design. This coin will seize control over your collection! Despite its unique shape, this is still a legal tender coin, with the effigy of Queen Elizabeth ll engraved on the obverse.
Officially licensed, each coin arrives in a modern Star Wars™ branded box with a large window so you can display your elite piece. For further protection in combat, the coin sits in an acrylic capsule. Turn to the back of the box for a Certificate of Authenticity and the coin’s unique number in its limited mintage.
