Megatron is the merciless leader of the evil Decepticons and one of the most feared and powerful warriors to ever emerge from Cybertron. He is driven by a never-ending need for conquest and desire to vanquish all who oppose him. The only thing he hungers for more than the conquest of the Autobots is the demise of his arch nemesis, Optimus Prime.
Officially licensed, this epic piece features Megatron as seen in his debut in the 1984 series, The Transformers. He is shown in full colour, parading his powerful battle stance, and holding his signature weapon – the Fusion Cannon. A mirror-finish background shines behind him and the logo and year have been finely engraved and frosted. Like Megatron, this piece is sure to dominate your collection!
Each coin is kept in a high-quality box featuring eye-catching Transformers-themed imagery. For further protection (not that the Emperor of Destruction needs it!) the coin is held in an acrylic capsule. Turn to the back of the box for the coin’s unique number in the limited mintage. To confirm it as legal tender, a Certificate of Authenticity is provided, and the obverse displays the effigy of Queen Elizabeth ll.
