How to Buy Bullion

Buying bullion is really easy, here's a step by step guide:

  1. Seen a product you like and want to know more? Call us on 0800-NZMINT (0800 696 468 or + 64 9 377 6837), or use the Enquire Now button on the product you're interested in or send an email to We will quote a live spot price and if you wish to proceed, email you a quote. The quote will include the bullion and quantity, the shipping costs and insurance charges. (We can quote in NZD or USD). Prefer to chat to us in person and see our product range? Feel free to pop into our offices anytime between 0900 and 1630 Monday to Friday. (Payments over the counter may be cash or eftpos.)

  2. Once you have received the emailed quote, kindly respond within 1 hour of receipt to confirm you would like to go ahead. At this point the contract becomes a legal binding contract and the price is locked in.

  3. Payment is to be made latest overnight on the day the order was placed. We accept telegraphic transfers/wire, direct credits and internet transfers. The next business day, once all payments have been allocated, NZ Mint accounts will send you a receipt via email.

  4. Your order is then ready to be collected or prepared for shipment using Courier Post (signature only). Most customers receive their orders 1 to 2 business days thereafter. Please note if you have approved an Authority To Leave (ATL) on your address, the shipment shall be left without signature. Kindly call Courier Post immediately should you wish to cancel the authority.
