It’s the 80th anniversary of Disney’s Bambi! Join the celebration with this first 1oz pure silver coin as part of our special anniversary collection.
Officially licensed, this wonderful coin features a coloured image of Bambi and Thumper against the background of the forest, where patches of frosting accentuate the silver and enrich the design. A flash of silver can also be seen under Bambi’s hooves. The engraving along the bottom confirms it’s a full 1oz of .999 fine silver and provides the Disney authentication. As a legal tender coin, the obverse includes the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. To make the coin more appealing, the mintage is set at just 1,942 - to reflect the year the film was released.
It is placed in a special edition Bambi 80th anniversary themed box, which incorporates a wider image of the coin with Bambi, Thumper and the other woodland creatures. A Certificate of Authenticity is printed at the back of the box along with the coin’s unique number.
