2022 will be the Year of the Tiger. This first coin shows a delightful image of a child in a tiger costume holding a traditional red envelope featuring the Chinese character for ‘tiger’. The effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, found on the obverse side, confirms it as a legal tender coin - despite its unique colouring and shape. The rest of the series will follow this style.
