This 1oz silver coin is fully engraved and features a close-up image of the great fortress, Hornburg in Helm’s Deep, from THE LORD OF THE RINGS™. It has been antiqued and includes some relief to further accentuate the design.
Created in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the coin is made from .999 pure silver and is legal tender with the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II engraved on the obverse. The worldwide mintage is set at 3,000 coins.
Each coin is tucked in velvet, and placed inside a modern, compact, and themed packaging. A Certificate of Authenticity is printed on the box which also carries the coin’s unique number in the mintage.
