The final release in the Warriors of History Chibi® Coin series is inspired by the Vikings.
Described as “raiders" or "traders”, they were highly trained in archery, spear-throwing, and swordplay from the young age of 10. Between the 8th and 11th centuries, these audacious Scandinavian adventurers carried out surprise attacks across Britain and Europe. Some even voyaged as far as North Africa, Turkey and North America to seek out plunder and rewards.
Each special coin is placed inside a high-quality, custom-designed case that includes a large window to make it easy to display. A Certificate of Authenticity is printed on the box, confirming it is legal tender and for further confirmation, the obverse bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The unique number in the mintage of 2,000 coins is also printed on the box.
