Foil Story

Released in June 1984, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock is the third film in the Star Trek film franchise and the sequel to Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. The film was directed by Leonard Nimoy, who plays the iconic Spock, becoming the first cast member to direct a Star Trek film.

In the film, Spock is presumed dead, but his consciousness is revealed to survive within McCoy. Spock's body and consciousness must be quickly reunited, or his death will be certain, and McCoy will be left insane. Racing against time, Admiral Kirk makes painful sacrifices trying to save his friends.
