The Bullion Exchange

The New Zealand Mint is well respected amongst the international bullion community and the Gold Kiwi coin has been in production since 1967.

Building on the success of the Gold Kiwi bullion coin, New Zealand Mint opened the Bullion Exchange in 2009, the first of its kind in New Zealand. Because New Zealand Mint has traded both gold and silver for many years, the staff of the Bullion Exchange make buying and selling precious metals easy and convenient for our customers.

We offer a comprehensive service for bullion, buying and selling 99.9-99.99% pure silver and gold, over the counter and over the phone. We also offer on-site insured storage.

Located in Auckland, New Zealand, the Mint's highly experienced technical team oversees all aspects of the design process, including production of the master tools and complex die-making. Each stage of production - from blank preparation to quality control - takes place in a sterile environment under the personal supervision of the Mint Master.

The New Zealand Mint stands behind all its products and issues a Certificate of Authenticity with every coin it mints.
 

Our Jewellery

For more than 40 years we have produced a wonderful range of jewellery that has stood the test of time. Originally our collection was known as the Abbey brand and in 2008 we became New Zealand Mint Jewellery - in line with the overall brand.

Today our range has expanded to include the distinctive New Zealand designer collection, cutting-edge jewellery that complements our traditional range and caters to a wide range of tastes and styles.
