The second coin in our Fierce Nature series features the largest feline in the world, a tiger! Made of 2oz pure silver, we needed a large coin to do this impressive cat justice!
The beautiful, striped coat and that powerful, mesmerizing gaze places the tiger among the world’s most revered wildlife. It’s a reverence that’s mixed with a bit of fear, an appropriate reaction to a large, well-muscled, swift hunter with 1- to 2-inch-long canine teeth and 3- to 4-inch-long claws.
This striking coin is fully engraved and shaped to display a highly detailed tiger’s head. Its mouth is open wide, showing off its threatening roar (fun fact: a tiger’s roar can be heard as far as 3km away!). Its large teeth and angry eyes make this one ferocious piece! The antique finish on this coin further enhances the design.
To confirm the coin as legal tender, the effigy of Queen Elizabeth ll is engraved on the obverse. With a limited worldwide release of only 2,000 coins, you will need to hunt this piece down!
Each collectible is held in an acrylic capsule, moulded to its shape. A compact, themed box houses the coin and includes a large display window. You will want to show off this coin! Printed at the back is a Certificate of Authenticity and the coin’s unique number in the limited mintage.
