Hovertank Pilots™ are Imperial combat drivers who operate the Empire’s arsenal of armored repulsor vehicles, from troop transports to heavily armored hovertanks . This latest Star Wars™ coin in our Faces of the Empire™ Collection shows the distinctive ‘face’ of this lesser-known trooper - who was created and developed for the 2016 film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story™.
Like those before it, this eighth coin is made from 1oz pure silver that has been shaped and coloured to represent the helmet. The face also includes light relief to give it a three-dimensional look and feel. On the obverse is Ian Rank-Broadley’s effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, confirming the coin is legal tender.
