The story follows the daughter of Hippolyta rescuing fighter pilot Steve Trevor, whose pursuit of a Nazi spy ended with his crash landing on Paradise Island. Men were forbidden on the island, but in divining his past, Hippolyta recognized that he was a hero worthy of sacrifice. The Amazons decided to aid the war effort to defeat the vile Nazis with the lovely Diana ultimately chosen for the assignment.
One of the most beloved and iconic DC Super Heroes of all time, WONDER WOMAN has stood for nearly eighty years as a symbol of truth, justice and equality to people everywhere.
Made of 1oz pure silver, the coin displays a coloured image of the brilliant comic cover from October 1941. Some parts have been left engraved and frosted as an extra touch. All four sides are coloured to mimic the spine and pages of a comic book – now that’s epic!
Turn to the obverse for the Public Seal of Niue, confirming the coin as legal tender. Created in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, there are just 5,000 of these in the world – don’t miss your chance!
