This limited-edition collection will capture the endearing characters from Disney’s animated film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Naturally, the collection begins with a 1oz pure silver coin featuring the lovable Pooh Bear himself!
Pooh resides in a tree house in the Hundred Acre Wood. His house, featured on the coin, is mostly filled with jars and jars of “hunny”, although his supply is often near empty due to his unending appetite!
Disney’s Winnie the Pooh is based on the character of the same name from the book written by A.A. Milne. The “bear of very little brains” had never been in a feature-length movie until this 1977 premier. The film was a compilation of Disney’s earlier animated classics Winnie The Pooh and the Honey Tree, Winnie The Pooh and the Blustery Day, and Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too, with linking material from the original books.
