Mind-boggling news! Rick and Morty have landed on our new 1oz pure silver coin. Following its release in 2013, the animated sitcom grew to be one of the most popular TV comedies and a global cultural phenomenon.
It follows the adventures of the grandad and grandson duo, Rick and Morty. Morty Smith is a good-natured yet awkward boy who gets caught going on crazy adventures to other dimensions with his grandfather, Rick Sanchez, a brilliant yet reckless scientist.
Created in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the coin showcases a coloured image of the adventures of Rick and Morty, which contrasts wonderfully with the mirror finish background. The engraved image of Rick’s spaceship, The Space Cruiser along the bottom adds extra charm to the design. As legal tender, the obverse of the coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and a Certificate of Authenticity can be found on the box.
It is secured in an acrylic capsule placed inside a custom-designed box to complement the coin inside. The coin’s unique serial number can be found at the back of the box, displaying its place in the limited mintage of just 3,000 coins.
