Like all Asgardians, Thor possesses great strength, endurance, stamina, and long life, but it is his command over the stormy forces of nature that separate him from his brethren as a true son of Odin the Allfather. Thor can call down lightning and thunder at will and utilize them like a blacksmith uses his tools to work iron and steel—bending and shaping them into weapons. Once he believed it was his hammer Mjolnir that granted him these powers, but in truth the ability has rested within him the whole time.
Made from 1oz of pure silver, this splendid piece is coloured and shaped to show the Asgardian prince in his signature get-up with winged helmet and red cape. Some relief has been added to provide further detail. Despite the coin’s unique look, it is legal tender, with the obverse bearing the Public Seal of Niue.
Officially licensed, the worldwide release is limited to just 2,000 coins, with only 200 of them gilded! Each coin arrives in a themed box, custom-designed with a large window so you can easily display your epic piece. Printed on the back is a Certificate of Authenticity, along with the coin’s unique number in its limited mintage.
